Motherland Beckons Partners Turkey MUSIAD to Foster Economic Development!
Last November, Motherland Beckons signed a memorandum of understanding with world class business
enterprise, MUSIAD. The MoU, which has to a large extent afforded the
Nigerian and African youths the opportunity to tap into the business and
culture mix of both continents, has also birthed unique opportunities for economic development.
A Press Statement signed by Bodex Media explained that MUSIAD, which stands for Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association, a “BUSINESSMEN’S ASSOCIATION” was founded on May 5, 1990, in Istanbul, Turkey, by concerned businessmen with a vision to forestall human rights and supremacy of the law, justice and equality, peace and security, and the welfare and happiness of the people.
The main headliner for this signed agreement is to create a concerted effort to connect Turkey with the entire continent of Africa and at the same time, create a platform in Turkey for Africa where the whole world can come to trade and exchange cultures with Africa.
This is a platform created for the whole continent of Africa in one portal for the world to trade and connect with especially people of African descent and lovers of Africa. People all around the world can log on to www.attc.web and be rest assured of a business like never before.
Cote D’ivoire and the rest are slated for 2017. The forum welcomes business interactions amongst entrepreneurs and investors, so only serious minded business people and organizations are given audience on the platform.
Also, they are in the process of twinning a major city in Nigeria with a major city, Konya. This process is meant to set the shores of Africa ablaze beyond the borders and as well bring together universities of varying culture, customs and lifestyle for educational enhancement. This platform also births the mixture of African and Turkish music in a concert tagged “Africa Turkey Music amalgamation”.
Motherland Beckons is a creation of Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye, who is dedicated to opening Africa to the world and attracting Africans in Diaspora to the motherland. Over the years, Motherland Beckons has contributed to the wellbeing of Africans in no small way by offering a veritable platform to the Africans in the Diaspora and lovers of Africa to visit, invest and possibly come back to settle down in Africa.
MUSIAD is bent on creating a Diaspora Nigerian Industrial Zone for an eventual production of the products of these companies after three years of test run and acclimatization with the huge Nigerian market.About 2000 of these companies are ready to start business in Nigeria as soon as possible.

The Company, in its philanthropic
modality is an active and strong Non-governmental organisation (NGO) that
provides the platform for development, with dialogue, co-operation and
solidarity as tools created for the purpose of contributing to the social,
cultural, political, economic, scientific and technological development of
individuals and institutions.
With a whooping total of
over 50,000 members with over 11,000 corporations with branches in over 175
locations throughout the world, MUSIAD with the activation of the MoU, has
established an e-commerce portal where all Africans and people can connect to
purchase products from Turkey. The main headliner for this signed agreement is to create a concerted effort to connect Turkey with the entire continent of Africa and at the same time, create a platform in Turkey for Africa where the whole world can come to trade and exchange cultures with Africa.
In other words, those who
deem the travel miles of Africa enervating can fly in from Europe, Asia and the
Americas to Konya, Turkey, to connect with all parts of Africa. This was what gave birth
to ATTC which stands for Africa Turkey Trade Center situated on the 20th floor
of KULE plaza, Konya.
In connecting with the
entire continent of Africa, plans have been made to establish business offices
in all the 54 African countries which commenced last year with the Lagos and
Ghana offices opened. This is a platform created for the whole continent of Africa in one portal for the world to trade and connect with especially people of African descent and lovers of Africa. Motherland Beckons on the
1st of May, 2017 unveiled the Diaspora Nigerian Economic Recovery and Growth
Plan–DNERGP at its headquarters in Lekki Lagos. It is a tourism initiative to
revive the ailing Nigerian economy, in consonance with the recently launched
Economic Recovery and Growth Plan 2017-2020-ERGP by the federal government.
This comes as an
actualization of the benefits and vision of the MoU signed in December. The
efforts to resurrect the ailing tourism sector and yet convalesce the
entertainment industry has brought to the fore a leisure and entertainment
‘investment’ which would cover accommodation, feeding and transport for three
days of fun, recreation, authentic African music, drama, poetry, nightclubbing,
etc.
Hence, for ease of
operations and logistic flexibility, activities have been covered with the
creation of Destination Lagos; Destination Cross River; Destination Abuja and
Destination South West. A foremost tour operator in Nigeria has been appointed
to see the activities through. With this initiative, expectations are high for
the first operational year to the tune of one million Nigerians and their one
million friends, with a corresponding $2B injection into the Nigerian economy.
Earlier estimates did not
take into consideration the cost of a return ticket by diasporans who would
eventually spend 1000USD and additional expenses on up-keep, souvenirs,
shopping, and sometimes, tips. Hence this would most likely translate to about
$4,000 per visiting diasporan in rough estimates. Some diasporans may come with
more than one friend with each friend spending a minimum of 1000USD.
Moreover, with
convictions and belief that from the projected 2 million visitors annually,
about ten percent (about 200,000) would take advantage of the available
business opportunities offered by the Motherland Beckons/MUSIAD Agreement to
invest a minimum of $10,000 in the economy. This automatically translates to an
additional $20B investment into the Nigerian economy.
Given that MUSIAD is a
conglomerate of business minds, there is also the business plan where Diaspora
Nigerians who are interested in doing business at home but cannot fathom what
to do and how to go about it can be distributors and part owners in companies
and businesses with good rate of returns on investment, under the auspices of
the Motherland Beckons/MUSIAD Treaty, signed in December,2016.MUSIAD is bent on creating a Diaspora Nigerian Industrial Zone for an eventual production of the products of these companies after three years of test run and acclimatization with the huge Nigerian market.About 2000 of these companies are ready to start business in Nigeria as soon as possible.
