Almanah Hope Foundation Celebrates Widows Day with “Çharity” Walk

As the world celebrate this year’s Widows Day, the Almanah Hope Foundation in partnership with Blacksatino Media has set out the 24th day of June for a Charity Walk.  A Press Statement issued by Black Satino stated that the walk is geared toward creating an appreciable and unique opportunity for widows to celebrate one another and also garner support from members of the society.
The walk is expected to kick off at 7am from Eko Atlantic, Ahmed Bello Way through Adetokunbo Ademola, through intercession junction Akin Adesola back to Ahmed Bello Way. The event also promises to be very colourful as it features widows, children, family, women and friends all clad in variety of colours.
At Almanah Hope Foundation (AHF) the mission is to bridge the gap between the cold sweat of stigmatization and the hot flashes of financial / economic hardship encountered in an average life of a widow; so that she can work to tackle her everyday challenges in boldness.
